I'll speak up on this one. I think for the most part, you are all right. I think some minor tuning is not out of line on the Savage. This bike (in the U.S. anyway), tends to be factory set on the asthmatic side. She needs to breathe better. I think it really makes a noticeable difference. I deffinately recommend a different pipe and white spacer removal from the carb. As far as running nitro, hotter cams, turbo charged small block 350 chevy engine...etc,etc, forget it. You guys are right, she was never meant to be a fast bike. It would have been nice though, if Suzuki would have made the big lunger as powerfull as the DR650. I hear that bike will cruise at 75 all day long and hot almost 100mph.
